So the keen eyed amongst you, or as I may dare to call them, ‘the Fanbase’, may have noticed, this comic is not a new one.  This was drawn a while back, and I posted it on my deviantART account.  The reason for this is that I said I would only post 10 comics on deviantART, however, it took so long for me to get the ball rolling, I decided to post this one as just a teaser.  But, it still serves as one of my comics, so I was always going to post it here.  I’m not sure if this is cheating, but hey, my rules…

There’s a lot to say about this one.  As I said in the David Bowie comic a few weeks ago, I always intended on making the comic a little more gaming orientated, and this is the first time the comic really talks about gaming in a ‘serious’ way.  Yeah, I said serious.  I’m not sure how relevant this all is now, but this was drawn just after the E3 Xbox One Showcase, and myself, as well as a lot of Xbox fans, were a little outraged at some of their decisions.  I don’t expect the majority of people to get or understand this, but this was my contribution to the outrage at Microsoft.  I love Xbox.  I love Microsoft.  But this annoyed me.  More so was the outrageous price tag.  That reason alone means I may very well not get an Xbox One for a long time, despite rumours of me having pre-ordered it already… Don’t know where those came from…

Another reason why I leaked this one early was because of the change in style.  I’ve talked about this a lot before in my posts, but this was a big stride in the right direction for me.  Least I think it was.  The characters are now more geometric, and I can draw them quicker, easier, and at better angles.  Consistent almost.  I also like the way it looks.  The eyes are bigger too, and I feel it just looks a little more solid.  I also changed the way I coloured it, and I feel I’ll be using this new method for a while now.

On a more technical, and dare I say political note, this comic does have a few things I worry about.  For the first time I mention a copyrighted product and company.  Is this bad?  Am I in trouble?  Will I be sued or sent to prison?  Well, if I don’t post next week, please send all your money to “FREE TONY”, which is currently in development to free incarcerated comic artists of infringement.  Another technical matter, is that I realise now I’m spending a lot of time talking to myself.  Which makes me wonder, should I open the comments section?  Would people care?  Or would I just get internet trolls?  Eh, I dunno.  At any rate, I’m ranting, which usually means I’ve had to much sugar and it’s time for bed.  Else I might crash and just pass out without even saying goodb-
